i just stuck a 120mm and an 80mm on mine to replace the fan, departure the stock heatsink on there.

Conducting wire the fan up straight as you have, or find a third party fan that uses external world power.

I hate to spoil the party, but I don't recall any of the suggestions hither will work, unless @Mohammed didn't link the rightfulness seller thread. Those are all AMD reference blowers, and those do not have convention case fans. It'll be really hard to find a fan that is virtually the same size and rump push huge amounts of air laterally across the heatsink. Zip-ligature it directly onto the heatsink will probably be a non-so-redeeming idea because the heatsink is comparatively diminutive and isn't premeditated to birth air blow belt down onto it. Tahiti cards need lots of area to caller.

You could pass the Kraken G10 a blastoff but IT's pretty ghetto and will cost you extra for an AIO. "GPU fan working when connected to PSU" What sort of connector is IT? Is information technology the squat 4-peg that is (annoyingly) non actually a 4-pin? If it's a normal 4-pin connector could you go IT and connect it to your motherboard?

people are basically saying use the stock heatsink itself, but replace the fan with whatever. i did it on my 7970 clean fine for a few months (i've gone back to the stock cooler, albeit with cardinal fan on a manual controller now)

Slow solution WTF, non everyone is made of money :p, easy solution is pickings the plastic crap away and protrusive a 120mm fan thereon with zip tie's.

or wiring the stock fan to a comptroller, either blue-collar or automatic. Just rig it to the loudest scene you're comfortable with and forget about it.
